Access meeting options

To access the options, two paths:

  • from a meeting (slide 1) using your Teams link

  • from the Teams calendar (slides 2 & 3) by selecting the Virtual Room appointment positioned on September 1 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Access to meetings

The first configuration allows users within your organization, as well as people invited to your meeting, to join the meeting without being put on hold in the waiting room .

The second configuration allows you to control who can accept participants into the waiting room.

The third configuration allows you to announce people joining or leaving a meeting in progress.

Advanced Protection

Roles

The first configuration allows the addition of co-organizers to your meeting.

Participation

The first configuration allows you to authorize the participants' microphone .

The second configuration allows you to authorize the participants' camera .

Enabling the third setting allows participants to send messages and interact in the chat .

Enabling the fourth setting allows participants to use emoticons.

The fifth setting allows organizers to generate meeting attendance reports . These attendance reports provide information about participants (who joined, when, length of time attended, etc.).

Recording and transcription

The first option allows you to configure automatic recording and transcription by default when the meeting starts .

The second configuration allows you to configure who can start recording and transcription.

The third setting is to determine who has access to the recording and transcription .
