Introduction

Understand the difference between due date , availability date (start date and end date) and duration , and know how to set them up on a quiz.

Quiz restrictions allow you to define start dates, end dates and due dates for the quiz.

  • The start date determines when a quiz becomes available to learners. Before this date, the quiz title may be visible, but learners cannot access the quiz .

  • The end date determines when a quiz becomes unavailable to learners.

  • The due date specifies a time by which a quiz must be completed. It is for informational purposes only and is displayed in students' calendars. A quiz is considered late if it is submitted after the due date. However, it does not prevent learners from accessing the quiz.

  • The quiz duration is the time allowed (or suggested) to complete the quiz. It only starts once the learner has clicked on "Start the quiz".
