Introduction
Understand the difference between due date , availability date (start date and end date) and duration , and know how to set them up on a quiz.
Quiz restrictions allow you to define start dates, end dates and due dates for the quiz.
The start date determines when a quiz becomes available to learners. Before this date, the quiz title may be visible, but learners cannot access the quiz .
The end date determines when a quiz becomes unavailable to learners.
The due date specifies a time by which a quiz must be completed. It is for informational purposes only and is displayed in students' calendars. A quiz is considered late if it is submitted after the due date. However, it does not prevent learners from accessing the quiz.
The quiz duration is the time allowed (or suggested) to complete the quiz. It only starts once the learner has clicked on "Start the quiz".
